Addiction Recovery is a very long journey made up of thousands of baby steps.  This is a journal of one man’s experiences as he takes that journey.  Whether you struggle with addiction yourself, or you love someone who does, you may find comfort and connection here.

I have known great sorrow in addiction, but I’ve also seen the power of Jesus Christ turn my most devastating defeats into glorious spiritual victories.   I have lived with depression, anxiety, fear, and anger, but I am learning how to experience joy and peace.  I have have witnessed miracles in my own life, and through my role as Group Leader in a support group I have seen miracles in the lives of others who were trapped by addiction.

Many of my posts on this blog will seem like they have nothing to do with addiction and recovery.  However, they will all be about my life. . .

And this is my life in recovery.
